Not sure if it’s just me, but I installed this a couple of weeks ago and it works as described, but to this day I’m still showing the same exact Apple trailers as two weeks ago. When I go to the Apple Trailers site there are lot more new updated trailers that does not show on my WDTV.

Is there a large lag time, or is there something wrong?

Do you have a working network connection and can your WDTV access the internet?
If yes, then the problem is something else. In that case the output of the log file /apps/appletrailerfs/var/log/appletrailerfs.log would be helpful to find the reason why the trailers aren’t playing.

I can install it and run it but I cannot play the trailers. It always give me this error:

“Unable to play the selected file. Please refer to the user manual for how to change the file to a supported format.”

What’s the problem?!?
