you’re doing a good job here
i’m playing now for 2 days with your tutorials and sourcecode – but my problem is that i’m new into unix-developing (except the 3 days at school ;O) )
but i’m very well into developing in general and especially M$ so i think i will check this json-thing out
but keep this idea with the extra application going anyway!

Its possible without changing the source code. You just have to adapt the database. But it is something that is currently not really supported just possible if you know your way around Linux and JSON. In the future the streaming part of appletrailerfs will be extracted and put into an extra application where everyone can easily define their own http sources.

is it possible to adapt the sourcecode for a app which could read http mpeg2 streams? wouldn’t it be the same like mp4 streams??

The OSD Integration currently only works if you have list mode enabled (not thumbs mode) for movies.

There also seem to be some problems when the media library is enabled, but its not on every WDTV. The OSD integration is very beta and not very well tested, so there may be hickups.

Thank you! However I have a problem: video streaming works for me but the OSD integration doesn’t (I have the osd event lib). Do I have to enable it somewhere?
